CareCompanion started with one simple question: “How can I make sure my grandma is okay, every single day?”
When my grandmother started living on her own, our family faced a familiar struggle. She valued her independence, but we constantly worried. Did she wake up okay? Does she need help with anything? How can we stay connected without overwhelming her or missing something important? We didn’t want to wait until something went wrong to find out something was wrong.
So, I built a simple solution just for her: a daily check-in tool and a way to easily ask for help. It worked and it changed everything. She felt more supported. We felt more connected. And most importantly, she stayed independent with confidence. That small solution has grown into CareCompanion - a platform built to support independent seniors, caregivers, and families across communities.
